A Natural State of Being

Our vision is to provide homes, healing, and a sense of community to those experiencing homelessness in and around our towns in Arkansas. Our goal is to begin with a small model community just outside a town in need.

We envision a community of tiny homes and shared spaces - such as a kitchen, music center, and art studios - built around a small organic farm. We also plan to begin with economical glamping structures to provide a natural transition from camping outdoors to living in a tiny home. The community would offer on-site resources and support for addiction and mental health.

Our aim is to create a “natural state of being”- living in community, connected to nature, farming and cooking together, eating nutritious food, building, and making music. At its core, this is about fostering love, support, and reconnection with nature as part of the healing process.

Natural State of Being plans to start with a piece of land outside a town in Arkansas, ideally two acres or more, suitable for a small organic farm and community structures. Securing land is the first step, and we are open to the possibility of a donated property.

In addition to land donations, initial funds from donations and grants will go toward purchasing land. Volunteers are essential to this vision—please email us with your skills and join our mailing list so we can connect when it’s time to begin on-the-ground work.
